Excellent remote for a professor using windows 7,

As a professor teaching in a large lecture hall (and occasionally giving conference presentations) this is the ideal remote. Simple to use, with important features I need (like volume, black out screen buttons)- the usb dongle being stored in the remote itself is much appreciated. I have used many different remotes and this one is the best thus far in the 9 years I have been trying them out.

I had a wireless mouse remote for about 2 years that worked very well but was dropped and broke, so I bought this one after a lot of research. It is great. I teach high school and use it all day, turning it off and on as needed to change slides on powerpoints and to open new documents away from the computer. It has been one week of school so far and the batteries are strong. It's really easy to start using, just plus in the USB ang go. The only reason I gave it four stars for use is that the mouse takes getting used to. But it's only been a week and I've got it down.

So far I love this little gadget. I just hope that when I start to use it in my classroom in a couple of weeks that it will work as well as it has at home.
Excellent changer & pointer for Mac,

As soon as I put in the battery and plugged in the USB stick, this gadget was ready to go. The slide changer buttons have a good feel and work quickly, and the laser pointer is adequate for a large room. After setting a Preference pane, it could also turn the presentation on or off. I used it with a Mac and Keynote, but also tested it with PowerPoint. At a recent conference, I loaned to colleagues using a different Mac and a PC, and it worked flawlessly on both. Being able to store the USB stick inside the device is a plus. My only minor quibble is that it would be nice to have a case to protect it.

This remote just works!!! Its quick, easy to install, and responsive. I highly recommend it.
