Love this adding machine,

I like this adding machine mainly because the keys are where I'm use to having them. Why can't adding machines be more universal? It seems once you get use to a certain "type" of machine, it's very hard to change. I have one at work and two at home.

Prices of desk-top calculators continue to come down. But the quality of the products remains high. This is a wonderful calculator. I have been using Sharp products all my life...and will continue to do so!
My only complaint is that the product was pictured as 'off-white' in color; but what I received was all black. Not a huge deal; but I would like to have known prior to purchasing.

NO ON NO TIME,

WHEN IT STATES CALENDAR & CLOCK FUNCTION THE AVERAGE PERSON WOULD BELIEVE THAT WHEN YOUR UNIT IS OFF (NOT A CALCULATOR) THAT THE TIME OR TIME CALENDAR WOULD SHOW ON THE DISPLAY. IT IS NOT EXPLAINED THAT THE UNIT "MUST BE ON" TO SEE THE TIME OR CALENDAR AND EVEN THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR SETTING THE TIME AND DATE DO NOT SAY IT HAS TO BE ON.
I WAS NOT VERY HAPPY THAT THE UNIT MUST STAY ON FOR THIS FUNCTION AS THERE IS A BACKUP BATTERY IN THE UNIT.
AS FOR THE FUNCTION AND EASE OF THE KEYS FOR A CALCULATOR IT IS GREAT, BUT HAD I KNOW ABOUT THE TIME FUNCTION I WOULD HAVE GONE FOR THE LESS EXPENSIVE ONE WITHOUT THE TIME.
